Food Intolerance Testing

If you’ve ever suspected that certain foods leave you feeling uncomfortable or low in energy, this simple home to laboratory test can help take the guesswork out of what’s really going on.  Using a small finger prick blood sample, it measures all four subtypes of food specific IgG to identify reactions to more than 200 food and drink ingredients.

Your results are displayed in an easy-to-read traffic light report, showing which foods may be triggering an immune response.   Understanding your food fingerprint helps you support gut health and ease the load on your immune system, so you can start to feel more balanced and energised.  Once your results are ready, we’ll meet for a 15-minute Zoom consultation to review your report together.

(Not available during pregnancy or breastfeeding.)

What’s Included

What’s Tested

The Food Intolerance Test analyses your body’s immune response to over 200 food and drink ingredients, helping to highlight which ones may be contributing to unwanted symptoms.

Categories include:

  • Key foods: cow’s milk, gluten (gliadin), wheat, egg white and yolk, yeast, oats, peanuts, almonds, beef, and coffee
  • Drinks: green tea, coffee, wine varieties, herbal blends and different types of milk (cow, goat and sheep)
  • Fish and shellfish: salmon, tuna, sardines, cod, prawns and mixed seafood
  • Fruits and vegetables: berries, citrus fruits, tomatoes, avocado, apples, leafy greens and root vegetables
  • Grains and legumes: barley, corn, rye, quinoa, rice, lentils, chickpeas and beans
  • Herbs, spices and nuts: garlic, ginger, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, sesame, cashew, walnut and hazelnut

Your report includes results for each food group, displayed in a clear traffic light format, showing high, borderline or normal reactivity.

For the most accurate results, it’s best to continue eating a normal variety of foods in the two weeks before taking your sample.   Avoid eliminating foods completely unless medically advised (e.g. food allergies), as this can affect how your immune response shows up in the test.Foods not consumed in the two
weeks prior to the test may not show up in your results.
